FOM117C - The basic gross salary in October of the employees who worked full-time the whole month by categories of employees and economic activities at level of CANE Rev.2 section and division 
Definition The basic gross salary is the salary agreed upon in the individual work contract/job agreement according to the responsibility and complexity of tasks and to the professional level necessary for the respective position, the management allowances, performance salaries and indexations included (only those included in the basic salary). It does not include allowances (the personnel remunerated according to the Law 330/2009 excluded) and bonuses.

Methodology The main objective of the survey was to provide the information necessary to estimate the average basic gross salary in October for the employees who worked full-time the whole month by categories of employees and economic activities.
The survey has been designed according to the provisions of the national legislation in force and to the international recommendations on the subject stated by the International Labour Office.
From 2008 onwards the data obtained were aggregated by the main activity of units according to the Classification of Activities of the National Economy CANE Rev.2, implemented at national level starting from 01.01.2008 according to the Order of the President of NIS no. 337/2007, published in the Official Journal of Romania no. 293 from 03.05.2007.

Observations The activity PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND DEFENCE; SOCIAL INSURANCE OF PUBLIC SECTOR excludes armed forces and assimilated.

The data are available according to CANE Rev.2 starting 2008. For the period 1994 - 2007 data according to CANE Rev.1 are found in the matrices FOM117A and FOM117B.  
Interruption Last period of this series: Year 2012.
Continuation This matrix represents a continuation of the FOM117A matrix, containing data up to Year 2007.
