Definition |
Accident at work means violent body injury as well as acute professional intoxication during labor process or when accomplishing duties at work, which causes temporary disability at work of at least three days, invalidity or death. The number of persons injured at work represents number of persons injured at work, no matter of accident type or its consequences. The number of accidents at work excludes cases of commuting accidents. The rate of accidents at work represents the frequency of injuries or the number of injured persons per 1000 employees. |

Methodology |
Data include persons injured in the workplace registered according with the definition of accidents at work included in the Law no. 319/2006 regarding security and health at work, with consequent modifications and additions, except commuting accidents.
