Definition Harvested wood volume represents the gross volume of standing timber in lots production for the year which is covered by statistical research, harvesting up to 31 December of that year. There is no harvested timber, the timber left on foot.

Methodology Exhaustive statistical survey which uses a combination between statistical sources and administrative data is adressed to forestry units having activities included in NACE under 020 groupe (Sylviculture, logging and auxiliary services).
