ART111B - Spectacles and concerts in institutions and companies for arts performing or concerts, by category of entertainment institutions, macroregions, development regions and counties  
Definition Performances (shows/concerts) are artistic productions of shows or concerts presented directly to the public by performing artists can be: dramatic, choreographic, opera, operetta, folkloric, variety, cabaret, circus, puppets (animation), instrumental theater, respectively concerts of academic, symphonic, vocal-symphonic, choral, folkloric, electronic music. The performances can be held either at the headquarters of the institutions/company for arts performing or concerts or at the headquarters of cultural centers, centers for the conservation and promotion of culture, as well as in established areas, in the open air or in unconventional spaces or in the country or abroad.
Performances may take place in Romanian or in a language of national minorities (Hungarian, German, Hebrew, etc.).

Methodology The data refers only to the activity of the institutions and companies for arts performing or concerts in the country.

Observations Artistic ensembles including choirs (starting with 2011), dance and entertainment bands (starting with 2012), brass bands and artistic ensembles (starting with 2016) which operate independently or within cultural centers, county centers for preservation and promotion of culture, municipal houses of culture, city houses of culture.
