Methodology |
Special assistance units for under age persons with deficiencies are units of National Authority for Disabled People.Until 1999, units of special assistance for under age and adults were called hostels.
Starting with June 1, 1999, according to the Government Emergency Ordinance no 102/30.05.1999,they have been reorganised and have been named centers.
The lower number of children is determined by the transfer of under age, according to the new legislation (G.D. no.261/2000), in residential type institutions ( placement centres of Public Specialised Services in the subordination of public local administration-county councils of Bucharest Municipality sectors; placement centres of Private Autorished Organisation), in natural families or in substituting families.
