Definition Centres for adults assistance include the units specialised in protection and care of categories of adult persons (persons with chronic diseases, with disabilities/handicap, elderly, pensioners), the centres for neuropsychiatry recovery and rehabilitation, the centres for recovery and rehabilitation of disabled persons, day care centres, at the end of the year.

Methodology The Ministry of Labor and Social Justice accredits the providers of social services and licenses the social services, in accordance with Law no.197 / 2012 on quality assurance in the field of social services, with subsequent amendments and completions. Thus, the source of statistical data on accredited social service providers is the unique electronic register of social service providers.
