Definition Number of adults assisted in specialised centres represents the number of persons from the centres for adults assistance (for persons with disabilities or elderly), at the end of the year.

Observations The starting year for data series is 1999. This is the first year for which, National Authority for Disabled People has provided data in the requested structure.
Until 2003, the recovery and rehabilitation centers include only the neuropsychiatric recovery and rehabilitation centers.
Since 2004, are included also the recovery and rehabilitation centers for disabled persons.
