Definition |
The net turnover is calculated by summing up the invoiced returns from the sale of goods and commodities, the performance of works and services. Turnover does not include VAT, excise duties, subsidies received from public authorities or EU institutions and income from sale or transfer of fixed assets. The Nomenclature of economic operator?s monthly providing data includes economic operators having industry as main activity divisions 46 (CANE Rev. 2.) |

Methodology |
The Classification of Activities in the National Economy Strata -CANE Rev.1: Strata 1 Division 51 Total Wholesale trade, (except of motor vehicles and motorcycles) Strata 2 Group 511 Intermediation activities in wholesale Strata 3 Group 512 Wholesale of gross agricultural products and of live animals Strata 4 Group 513 Wholesale of food products, beverages and tobacco Strata 5 Group 514 Wholesale of consumer goods others than food goods Strata 6 Group 515 Wholesale of non-agricultural intermediary products and of waste Strata 7 Group 518 Wholesale of machinery, equipment and supplies Strata 8 Group 519 Wholesale of other products For methodological harmonisation with E.U. statistical system, monthly surveys on wholesale activity persue as statistical indicator the turnover net of VAT carried out by the enterprises which have this main activity. Data regarding turnover are provisional and there are periodically rectified based on the corrections, which are retroactively done by the enterprises from the sample. |
