COM103J - Turnover value indices in wholesale, unadjusted series - base year 2015 
Definition The net turnover is calculated by summing up the invoiced returns from the sale of goods and commodities, the performance of works and services. Turnover does not include VAT, excise duties, subsidies received from public authorities or EU institutions and income from sale or transfer of fixed assets. The Nomenclature of economic operator?s monthly providing data includes economic operators having industry as main activity divisions 46 (CANE Rev. 2.)

Data sources Statistical survey on turnover in trade and services details 
Methodology Wholesale trade corresponds to division 46, CAEN Rev.2. The value indices of the turnover in the wholesale trade are Laspeyres indices and are calculated as non-deflated weighted indices. The weights used for aggregation are calculated based on turnover according to the results of the Structural Survey in Enterprises from the reference year (2015), in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) no. 2152/2019, Regulation (EU) no. 1197/2020, Regulation CE no. 1165/1998 amended by European Parliament Regulation no. 1158/2005 regarding short-term statistics. The value indices of the turnover are provisional and can be revised periodically, based on the corrections done retroactively by the enterprises included in the sample on the data previously filled in.
