| Definition |
Wholesale and retail, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; retail of vehicles, fuel for motor vehicles include: wholesale and retail of new and second-hand vehicles, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles, wholesale and retail of spare parts and accessories, retail of fuel, cooling products and lubricants for motor vehicles. Renting motor vehicles is not included.
For the methodological harmonisation with the statistical system of the European Union, the monthly surveys on retail persue as statistical indicator turnover net of VAT achieved by enterprises which have this activity.
Turnover represents total income of enterprise in the reference period, coming both from main activity and from secondary activities. Turnover does not include income from sale or transfer of fixed assets.
Turnover indices are provisional and could be periodically revised, based on the retroactive corrections by enterprises in the sample, on the previously completed data. |
