Important!
· Please hold Shift or Ctrl keys while clicking the dimension elements to obtain a multiple selection.
· Use the three buttons below each dimension to ease your selection: Expand, Collapse and Select All
· The measuring units are all selected by default, to prevent empty results when combining uncompatible requests (for example, one may ask for production of corn measured in liters; or a value in ROL after the denomination in 2005). You are free to modify the selection, just be careful. Thank you!
COM108P - Turnover value indices in wholesale and retail, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, unadjusted series - base year 2015
Definition The net turnover is calculated by summing up the invoiced returns from the sale of goods and commodities, the performance of works and services. Turnover does not include VAT, excise duties, subsidies received from public authorities or EU institutions and income from sale or transfer of fixed assets. The Nomenclature of economic operator?s monthly providing data includes economic operators having industry as main activity divisions 47 (CANE Rev. 2.)
Periodicity Monthly
Data sources Statistical survey on turnover in trade and services details
Methodology The weights used at aggregation are calculated based on turnover according to the results of Structural Business Survey (2005).
The data for the year 2008 period were recodified according to the new Classification of Activities in the National Economy (CANE Rev. 2), harmonised with the European classification in the field (NACE Rev. 2), and the data series were recalculated according to the new classification and as a result of changing the base year and the weighting system used to calculate the indices. The recalculation was based on the data collected in 2008, according to both CANE revisions, through the statistical survey on short-term indicators in industry. The data series for the 2000-2007 period was estimated according to CANE Rev. 2 on the basis of the matrix of conversion between the two versions of the classification. The matrix was built using the results of the survey meant to improve the statistical register and updated with information collected through the structural business survey.
Changes due to implementation of new classifications, the transition to a new reference year (2015, replacing the reference year 2010) and changes in the weighting system have generated changes of data published previously.
The value indices of the turnover are calculated in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) no. 2152/2019, Regulation (EU) no. 1197/2020, EC Regulation no. 1165/1998 amended by European Parliament Regulation no. 1158/2005 regarding short-term statistics.
Volume/value indices of turnover are provisional and can be reviewed periodically, based on the corrections done retroactively by the enterprises in the sample, regarding data previously filled in. In order to adjust the series, the DEMETRA programs package was used (TRAMO/SEATS method) estimating the effect of working days number different from one month to another and calendar effect (orthodox Easter, bisect year, and other national holidays) as well as the identification and correction of outliers (occasional, transitory or permanent level changes) and interpolation of missing values.
