Important!
· Please hold Shift or Ctrl keys while clicking the dimension elements to obtain a multiple selection.
· Use the three buttons below each dimension to ease your selection: Expand, Collapse and Select All
· The measuring units are all selected by default, to prevent empty results when combining uncompatible requests (for example, one may ask for production of corn measured in liters; or a value in ROL after the denomination in 2005). You are free to modify the selection, just be careful. Thank you!
CON103J - Gross domestic product (GDP) by branches of activity, macroregions, regions and counties - current prices calculated according NACE Rev.2 - ESA 2010

Gross domestic product (GDP) is equal to the sum of final uses of goods and services by resident institutional units (actual final consumption, gross fixed capital formation) plus exports and minus imports of goods and services.
Periodicity Annual
Data sources Regional Gross Domestic Product details
The GDP revision is presented in the document on the Harmonized European Revision Policy (HERP), available in the NIS metadata base at the specified data sources.
Methodology Regional accounts represent a regional version of the national accounts of the economy and are therefore based on the same concepts and definitions as the national accounts.
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at market prices is the final result of the production activity of resident producer units.
In the regional accounts, it is calculated using the production method, as follows: GDP is the sum of the gross value added by branches of activity, to which taxes are added and subsidies on products are subtracted.
In general, regionalisation can be carried out using the top-down method and the mixed method.
The main regional aspects are addressed in Chapter 13 of ESA 2010, but they are not specified in practical terms.
For practical rules and recommendations regarding sources and methods, please refer to the publication ''Manual on Regional Accounts Methods'': https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/en/web/products-manuals-and-guidelines/-/KS-GQ-13-001
