Definition The input-output table is a widely matrix framework used to present detailed and coherent information on the flows of goods and services as well as on the structure of production costs.
Gross domestic product is the sum of gross value added of various institutional sectors or various activity branches plus taxes and are deducted subsidies on products (which are not broken down by activity sectors and branches). It is also the balance of total economy production account.
Gross domestic product is calculated in current and comparable prices.
Actual final consumption consists of the goods or services that are purchased by resident institutional units for directly meeting of human needs, whether individual or collective.
Government's actual collective final consumption comprises government expenditure for collective consumption (general public services, defence, public order and safety, economic affairs, environmental protection, housing and community amenities, general administration, regulation, dissemination of general information and statistics, research and development a.s.o.).
Households actual individual final consumption consists of: households expenditure on purchasing goods and services in order to directly meet the individual needs of resident households members, government expenditure for individual consumption (medical products, appliances and equipment, outpatient services, hospital services, public health services; recreational and sporting services, cultural services; education, family and children, unemployment, housing, social exclusion) and NPISH expenditure for individual consumption.
Gross fixed capital formation consists of resident producers' acquisitions, less disposals of fixed assets during a given period plus certain additions to the value of non-produced assets realised by the productive activity of producer or institutional units. Fixed assets are produced assets used in production for more than one year.
Change in inventories is measured by the value of the inventories less the value of withdrawals and the value of any recurrent losses of goods held in inventories due to physical deterioration, or accidental damage or pilfering. Inventories include all goods, other than fixed capital goods, held at a given moment in time by producer units.
Imports of goods and services consist of transactions in goods and services (purchases, barter, and gifts) from non-residents to residents of Romania.
Exports of goods and services consist of transactions in goods and services (sales, barter, and gifts) from residents to non-residents of Romania.
Gross value added is the balancing item of the production account and measures the value newly created within the production process.
Production is an activity carried out under the control, responsibility and management of an institutional unit that uses inputs of labour, capital and goods and services to produce outputs of goods and services.
Intermediate consumption consists of goods and services consumed as inputs by a process of production, excluding fixed assets whose consumption is recorded as consumption of fixed capital and that are either transformed or used up by the production process.
Gross operating surplus is the balancing item of the generation of income account and it corresponds to the remaining value added after deducting compensation of employees and the taxes on production.

Observations The data were calculated on the basis of NACE Rev.2, according to ESA 2010 methodology since 1995.
The data for the period 2010-2019 have been revised according to Eurostat reserves.
The data for 1990 - 1997 were calculated on the basis of NACE Rev.1 according to ESA 79 methodology and are finding in the matrix CON101X. 
Continuation This matrix represents a continuation of the CON101X matrix, containing data up to Year 1997.
