Definition |
Imports of goods comprise all goods with onerous or free title entering the economic territory of the country coming from the rest of the world
Imports of goods include:
a. foreign goods entering the country for ever, for internal consumption;
b. foreign goods entering the country for processing and re-exportation afterwards;
c. foreign goods re-imported in the country after processing for which they were exported;
d. non-monetary gold, semi-wrought gold whose value of gold represents at least 80% of total value, including founding and dust, as primary form, both coins and bars and alloys;
e. import of electric power and natural gas;
f. goods received through postal package;
g. entering of art objects, collections, antiquities;
h. ships and aircrafts;
i. silver ores, concentrates, ingots, non-released pieces and silver wrought or semi-wrought;
j. exchanges under programmes title of civil and military aid, war compensations and military equipment;
k. goods received under leasing or rent condition, which are not returned at deadlines or are purchased for ever;
l. imported cinema and TV motion picture, film location, including the payment for afferent licences;
m. imports of goods under financial leasing;
n. goods used as support for information and software, including floppy disks and CD-ROM with software for general use (not ordered);
Imports of goods do nott include:
a. national goods (or nationalized) entering the custom warehouses and re-entered the territory of the same country;
b. entering of transit goods;
c. temporary imports;
d. monetary gold;
e. personal effects and items of passengers;
f. supply with fuel and food for Romanian ships and aircrafts, outside the national territory;
g. silver and metal coins, treasury notes and titles in circulation;
h. animals temporarily entering the territory, in order to take part in the races, competitions or to be presented at the circus, zoo etc.;
i. fish brought by foreign ships in the Romanian harbours;
j. machinery, equipment, installations and materials received from broad, which are used by the specialists in construction and assembling works, drilling, prospections, explorations and returned afterwards to the country where they belong;
k. purchasing goods, services and utilities paid in the foreign currency of the joint companies with foreign firms having their headquarters in Romania;
l. the value of repairs for vessels, aircrafts, rolling stocks and cars;
m. interests paid at credit imports;
n. order software;
o. imports of goods under operational leasing. |
