Definition Global participation rate in continuing vocational training courses represents the proportion of participants in CVT courses in average number of persons employed of all the enterprises object of this survey.
Participation rate in continuing vocational training courses represents the proportion of participants in CVT courses in average number of persons employed of the enterprises providing continuing vocational training courses.
Participation rate in continuing vocational training courses by age groups represents the proportion of participants in CVT courses in the average number of employees of the enterprises providing continuing vocational training courses.

Observations The statistical survey Characteristics of vocational training in enterprises was performed for the first time in 1999.
The next rounds of the survey had as reference period the years 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020.
Starting with the reference year 2020, in the global participation rate and in the participation rate, the average number of persons employed was used, unlike the previous versions when the number of persons employed on December 31 was used.
