GOS103A - Verdure spots area in municipalities and towns by counties and localities 
Definition It is the areas arranged as parks, public gardens or public squares, forests, graveyards, fields of sports grounds and facilities within the buildable perimeter of localities.
Green areas do not include greenhouses, plant nurseries, kitchen gardens, agricultural land, the lakes, etc.

Observations The number and name of localities are in accordance with administrative territorial structure updated for current year.
There are no data available in NIS for the period 1990-1992.
The green areas from Bucharest municipality is according with the ''Green Areas Register'' from 2011 based on the Law 24/2007 on the regulation and management of green spaces in the localities.
