GOS107A - Drinking water installation capacity by counties and localities |
Definition |
The capacity of drinking water installion is the maximum quantity of drinking water that can be discharged by the water distribution installation in a time unit represents the installation's capacity to produce drinking water. It is determined for each catchment-treatment installation, both for industrial and drinking water, taking itno account the capacity stipulated in the technical documentation, in case this documentation (confirmed by the reception report) exists, also considering the potential modernisations and re-equipments leading to an increase in the initial capacity. If at an installation there is a difference between the catchment capacity and the treatment capacity, the lower capacity will be taken into account. The total capacity of catchment installations will only include the installations that serve the centralised water-supply installations and not those of units for own industrial needs. |
