Definition |
The flow of the operating stations employed in the purification of waste waters refers to the installations still in function at the end of the year which are used for cleaning (through decantation, chemical and biological treatment, etc.) the waste waters of pollutants. The purification of used waters can be: - mechanical (decanted); - mechanico-biological (decanted and purified through decantatation and oxidation). Urban solid waste is the amount of garbage collected and stored in garbage dumps or in undeveloped places and includes household waste (food, garden plants and similar material), scrap metal materials (ferrous and non-ferrous) and waste of non-metallic materials (textiles, paper and cardboard, plastic, glass, etc.). |
