Definition The number of registered vehicles for local public transport of passengers refers to all the vehicles used for the road transport of passengers carried out within the administrative-territorial area of a locality, which are registered in the inventory of the respective unit at the end of the year.

Observations Until 2004, buses and minibuses position include only bus position.The number and name of localities are in accordance with administrative territorial structure updated for current year.
Bucharest municipality including localities of Ilfov county for the years 1990 - 1996 and 2000 - 2016.
Unit of measurement ''Number'' for variable ''Trams'' refers to number of passenger carriages.
