GOS114B - Passengers transported with local public transport by macroregions, development regions and counties 
Definition The number of passengers transported refers to the passengers transported by a road vehicle for public transport or metro, within the administrative-territorial area of a locality. The number of passengers with tickets (equal to the number of tickets sold) is added to the number of passengers with subscriptions of any kind.

Observations Since 1995 the position of buses and minibuses carry passengers include a maxi-taxi.
For the second, third and fourth quarters of 2014 and for the year 2015 the positions of trolleybuses, buses and minibuses include data estimated based on the number of free travel permits for all residents of Ploiesti Municipality, temporarily granted by the Local Council.
Data on trams, trolleybuses, buses and minibuses for the period Q3_2015 - Q2_2019 do not include pensioner passengers residing in Bucharest Municipality, beneficiaries of gratuities according to B.G.C.D. No.139/2006.
For 2019 reference year, data on trams, trolleybuses, buses and minibuses for Arad, Brasov and Iasi counties, is not comparable with data in the previous year due to changes in the estimation of the number of passengers transported for the holders of subscriptions, by some local public transport companies.
In the period 2019 - 2022, for the Alba county are included the data of metropolitan transports, and since 2019 for the counties Calarasi and Vrancea are included the data related to the localities - end of the route, bordering the municipalities residing by county.
For 2022 reference year, data on buses and minibuses for Bucharest Municipality are not comparable with those of the previous year due to changes in the method of determing the number of passengers transported, by some local public transport companies, since third quarter.
