GRV101A - Strikes initiated by observing the procedure provided by law by type of strikes 
Definition Strike represents a collective and voluntary ceasing of work. It can be declared only to defend the employee's professional interests of economic and social character and if previously, all the possibilities to solve the collective labour conflict have been used up, according to legal conciliation proceedings.

Methodology For 2005, warning strike followed by proper strike are included in warning strike.

Observations Data source is Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Protection. The starting year for the data series is 1992. In 1990 did not exist the legal frame (Law no 15/1991 for solving the labour conflicts), for 1991 year, MLFSP has not available data in requested structure.
In the years 2010-2018 there were no strikes.
