Statistical survey on turnover in industry details |
Methodology |
Turnover value indices are Laspeyres type indices and measure the turnover evolution per total, by CANE Rev.2 sections and divisions, as well as by broad industrial groups, according to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 of the European Parliament and of the Council, Commission implementing regulation (EU)2020/1197. Turnover index per total (domestic and non-domestic market) is calculated as the weighted mean between the turnover index on domestic market and the turnover index on non-domestic market, by each aggregation level (division, section, broad industrial group and total industry). The base year and the weighting system are related to 2021. The weights are calculated based on the turnover, according to the results of the Structural Business Survey in the base year (2021). Turnover indices are provisional and can be reviewed periodically, based on the corrections done retroactively by the enterprises included in the sample on the data previously filled in.
