Methodology |
New orders value indices are Laspeyres type indices and measure their evolution per total, by CANE Rev.2 sections and divisions, as well as by broad industrial groups. New orders index per total (domestic and non-domestic market) is calculated as the weighed mean between the new orders index on domestic market and the new orders index on non-domestic market, by each aggregation level. The base year and the weighting system are related to 2021. The weights are calculated based on the turnover, according to the results of the Structural Business Survey in the base year (2021). Indices are provisional and are revised based on the corrections retroactively done by enterprises from the sample.
