IND114A - Installed capacity of electric generating sets (end of year) |
Definition |
The installed power of an electric energy generating set represents the nominal power of the primary motor shaft (hydraulic turbine, eolian motor a.s.o.) multiplied by the efficiency of the generator and of the mechanical transmission, if it exists. The average installed power at the end of the year is calculated as a ratio between the product of the installed powers of power plants, on the one hand, and the calendar time of the reference period, on the other hand. |
