| Definition |
The sold value is the value in Lei (RON) of the sold production as well as the costs of the conditioning operations of products, even if they are invoiced separately. VAT and consumption taxes, separately invoiced, the packaging and transport costs, separately invoiced and the discounts granted to clients (discounts) are not included.
Exports of goods include all goods that, for a fee or free of charge, leave the economic territory of the country to the rest of the world. Imports of goods include all goods that, for a fee or free of charge, enter the economic territory of the country from the rest of the world. |

Statistical survey on industrial products and services - annual details |
| Methodology |
The statistical survey on PRODROM industrial products and services is based on European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) 2019/2152 on European business statistics and Commission implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1197 , which establishes that data on industrial production are collected and disseminated according to the ''PRODCOM List'' (mandatory for all Member States in the process of transmitting data to Eurostat). For each product listed, the quantity and value of production carried out, sold or intended for sale shall be recorded.
The statistical population included in PRODROM survey is formed by the active enterprises with main or secondary industrial activity (representative sample), which during the reference period have realized products and / or services of industrial character. The sample of reporting units is obtained by selecting the enterprises from the survey base that meet the criteria:
- Enterprises with main industrial activity that have 20 employees and over.
- Enterprises with main activity in other fields (non-industrial) but which have secondary industrial activities, with 50 employees and over.

The value of sold production at the class level is achieved by aggregating the sold value of component products.
Export and import refers only to the international trade transactions with goods of Romania. |
