INT105B - Gross investments for tangible goods from the active local units, by activity of national economy at level of CANE Rev.1 section, by size class and by the number of employees, macroregions, development regions and counties
|
Definition |
Gross investments in tangible goods are investments during the reference period in all tangible goods. Included are new and existing tangible capital goods, whether bought from third parties, acquired under a financial lease contract (i.e. the right to use a durable good in exchange for rental payments over a predetermined and protracted term) or produced for own use (i.e. Capitalised production of tangible capital goods), having a useful life of more than one year including non-produced tangible goods such as land. The threshold for the useful life of a good that can be capitalised may be increased according to company accounting practices where these practices require a greater expected useful life than the 1 year threshold indicated above. Net investments represent expenditure for construction, installations and assembly works, for equipment and transport means purchasing, other expenditure for creating new fixed assets, for developing, moderning, rebuilding the existing ones, as well as the value of services related to ownership transfer of existing fixed assets and lands (notary duties, commisions, transport, loading - unloading expenditure) a.s.o. |

Observations |
Only include the local units with activities related to education or health and social assistance, organized as companies. For period 1990-1997 there are not available data because the collection of information in this structure for territorial profile has started in 1998. The data comparability between NACE Rev.1 and NACE Rev.2 is not possible due to structural changes between the two classification (such as aggregation and/or detail of the classification). Starting with 2002 the data are available at county level. The data broken by size class is available only at macroregion an region level due to confidentiality issue. Differences between the sum up counties data by size classes and the total value by size classes is due to different coverage of the data for certain sectors. Differences between the total value and the sum up of the values by size classes are due to rounding up.
