INT110D - Active enterprises having at least one employee, with breakdown by activity of national economy at CANE Rev.2 level and by size class |
Definition |
Active enterprise is the entity which, from the economic point of view is active during the observation period that is it produces goods or provides services, registers expenditure and draws up the balance sheet. Normally a unit is considered active when it already has production and collects revenue. However, from the statistical point of view, the units that although do not get revenue but have already started an investment and consequently have costs are also of interest. So it is considered active any unit that hires labour force and registers costs, investment expenditure related to the productive activity included. |
