Definition The living floor space represents the sum of areas of habitable rooms, measured by interior dimensions.

Observations Taking into account that the data series from the matrix LOC103A at regional and county level was published in squares meters and the data at localities level from matrix LOC103B was publisehed in thousands squares meters a transformation of the measure unit was done to assure the comparability with the data series at national level. Due to this fact sum of localities could be different from the data series at regional and county level.
For the period 1990 - 1993 data by type of ownership are not available.
For the period 1994-1998 the total row include ''other forms of ownership''.
The number and name of localities are in accordance with administrative territorial structure updated for current year.
Data on the dwellings stock (number of dwellings, rooms and living area) for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023 have been recalculated as a result of the finalisation of the 2021 Census of Population and Housing.
