Definition Water resources represent the hydrological potential consisting of the surface and underground waters, under natural and arranged conditions, inventoried at the beginning of the year, in order to provide various utilities.

Methodology The data are collected through the Basin Districts of the Water Management Systems or the Water Use and Management systems operating at administrative county level.

Observations Data source is National Administration "Romanian Waters" which has data available from 1992.
