PNS106A - Average real pension indices of state social insurance pensioners, including pensions granted from M.Ap., M.A.I., S.R.I 
Definition Average real pension index is calculated as percentage ratio between the average nominal pension index and general consumer price index. The average nominal pension used to calculate the real pension refers to the category of state social insurance pensioners, pensioners of the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Internal Affaires and Romanian Intelligence Office. The average nominal pension also includes the additional pension. The indicator has similar content for 1999 too, the amounts for health social insurance contribution were not included. For the data series comparability, beginning with July 1, 2000, the value of the tax is also deducted.

Methodology The index of average real pension is calculated as the ratio beetwen the index of average nominal pension for calculation of average real pension and the general consumer price index or as ratio beetwen average real pension currently and average real pension from base period
