Definition |
Live-birth is a product of conception completely expelled or extracted from its mother's body, irrespective of the duration of pregnancy, which, after such separation, shows an evidence of life - breath, beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical chord or definitive movement of voluntary muscles. |

Are included women with permanent residence in Romania.
Abortions is spontaneous or induced removal of the fetus from the mother's body at a gestation period of less than 28 weeks ended, with the effect of fetal death.
The statistical data are constantly revised, according to the Revision Policy of NIS. Thus, the data for 2021 have been modified and are of "revised". Data prior to 2021 will not be revised. |
