Definition Late foetal deaths represent a product of conception completely expelled or extracted from its mother body after 28 weeks of pregancy at least, which after such separation does not show any evidence of life.

Since 2015, late foetal death number includes late foetal death whose mothers had, at birth, their permanent or usual residence in Romania.
