Observations |
Until 2011 the number of infant deaths included infant deaths whose mothers (legal tutor) had their permanent residence in Romania.
Beginning with 2012 there are included infant deaths whose mothers (legal tutor) had either their permanent residence or their usual residence in Romania.
For 1990-1992 the age group (for infant deaths) are:
Aged 6 days - children under 7 days
Aged 28-29 days - children 14-29 days
Aged 4 months - children 3-4 months
Aged 6 months - children 5-6 months
Aged 8 months - children 7-8 months
Aged 11 months - children 9-11 months
The statistical data are constantly revised, according to the Revision Policy of NIS.
Thus, the data for 2021 have been modified and are of "revised".
Data prior to 2021 will not be revised.
The revised data on vital events (infant deaths) for the year T represents the absolute final data related to vital events (infant deaths) recorded in year T, to which were added vital events (infant deaths) belatedly recorded in years (T+1), (T+2) and the first 4 months of (T+3), but that occurred in year T. |
