Definition Settle down the residence is registered in case of persons who arrived temporarily in another locality than their domicile one, either on January 1st or on July 1st, in a given year.

Methodology Since 2001, settling the residence is recorded at January 1st, as opposed to the previous period when it was done at July 1st.
