Definition |
Post offices are units providing services of reception, transportation and delivery to destination of letters, documents, values and goods for enterprises, institutions and the population. Post offices generally have a complex activity, rendering services related to mail, telegraph, wire broadcasting, media, philately, the Savings Bank (C.E.C.), the collection of TV subscriptions and others, but there can also be units that provide only one type of service. The number of post offices includes rural and uban offices, transit offices, agencies, independent offices, post stations, stamp stores and other units. |
