PTT104A - Volume of telephony activity, by types of activity, macroregions, development regions and counties 
Definition The volume of the telephony amd telegraphy activity includes conections, internal and international calls, phone telegrams, telex subscriptions, telex communications. Manual interurban calls cover all outgoing calls, incuding those made from phone booths. Automatic calls represent the total number of minutes registered by the counters of all automatic telephone sets (including automatic public sets). Conections in fixed tetephone network are given by the number of fixed connected lines for which subscriptions are payed. Conections in mobile telephone network are given by the number of SIM cards subscriptions and that of the number of prepay SIM cards.

Observations Starting with 2007, "phone subscriptions" have redefined in "conections".
Until 2006 phone subscriptions include the subscriptions of natural persons and legal entities, inclusively faxes on Romtelecom network.
Starting with 2007 the data include alternative providers for fixed network.
