SAR102C - Relative at-risk-of-poverty rate by household type |
Definition |
Relative at-risk-of-poverty rate is defined as the share of poor persons (according to the relative method of estimation) in total population. According to this method, the persons from the households with an equivalised disposable income lower than the at-risk-of-poverty threshold are considered poor. Usually, this indicator is determined for the 60% threshold from the equivalised disposable income. The indicator is sometimes encountered under the name 'poverty risk rate'. |
