Definition |
Gini coefficient is an indicator of the poverty severity that characterises the inequity of the income or resources distribution between the members of the community. The value of the indicator, that varies between 0 and 1 (or 0% and 100%) and shows how much of the total income should be reallocated in order to reach the hypothetical situation when the income is equally distributed between all the members of the community. |

Data are available from 2007.In the period 2007-2014 have been recalculated social inclusion indicators from the survey on the quality of life (ACAV).These indicators recalculation was made by calculation of the coefficients of expansion based on resident population from Population and Housing Census 2011. |
