Definition |
People living in a very low-intensity household refer to people (up to 64 years old) in households where working-age adults (18-64 years old) have had an activity equivalent to less of 20% of their work potential in the last year. The following categories are excluded: - students aged 18-24; - declared retirees or those who receive any other pension except those with survivor's pension - inactive people in the age category of 60-64 years |

In order to monitor the implementation of the Europe 2030 strategy objectives on poverty and social inclusion, Eurostat has developed new social inclusion indicators and recalculated the series for the period 2015-2022. The indicators related to the level of education refer to the population aged 18 and over. The level of education includes: - Low level: without school graduation, preschool, primary and secondary school; - Medium level: professional, high school, post-high school or technical foreman; - Higher level: university cycle I (bachelor), university cycle II (master's), university cycle III (doctorate), long-term university (4-6 years), postgraduate, postdoctoral studies. |
