Definition |
Inequality of income distribution estimates how many times higher are the equivalised disposable incomes (the value of the consumption from household's own resources included or excluded) obtained by all the persons from the 5th quintile (the wealthiest) compared to the incomes obtained by the persons in the 1st quintile (the poorest), of the population distribution by equivalised disposable income. The people of working age are the people with 18-64 years old, who are not dependent or inactive children. This indicator is also known as the "Income quintile share ratio S80/ S20". |

Observations |
Data are available starting with 2008. In the period 2008-2014 have been recalculated social inclusion indicators from the survey on the quality of life (ACAV). These indicators recalculation was made by calculation of the coefficients of expansion based on resident population from Population and Housing Census 2011. |
