SCL104B - Classroom teachers in pre-university education, by level of education, languages, macroregions, development regions and counties 
Definition The classroom teachers are the individuals who work in the educational system and teach in the educational and training process (full-time or part-time employees). Each teacher is registered only once and only in the educational unit where his/her job title (Employment Record Book) is kept in or where he/she teaches most of his/her classes.

Data sources Statistical surveys carried out at the beginning of school year (academic year) in educational units:
2.Pre-school education (ISCED level 02) details
3.Primary (ISCED level 1) and secondary (ISCED level 2) education details
4.Special primary ISCED level 1) and secondary (ISCED level 2) education details
5.High school education (ISCED level 3)details
6.Vocational education (ISCED level 3) and post high school education (ISCED level 4) details 
Methodology The education level according to the International Classification of Educational Standards - ISCED 97 (until 2013) / ISCED 2011 (after 2013).  
Last update SEP 10, 2014 
Observations For 1990-1996 the data are completed only at total level.
For 2012, and staring with 2014 the data are not available.
When calculating the data by the teaching language, in addition to Romanian, the languages of national minorities were also taken into account.
