SCL105B - Classrooms (school cabinets/amphiteaters), by level of education, counties and localities 
Definition Classrooms - the rooms used for educational and training process within education units. It can be used by two or three classes at the most, successively, during a day. The following are specific to tertiary level of education: amphitheaters, course and seminar rooms.
A school cabinet is the room inside an educational unit endowed with technical equipment and documentation necessary for specialized studies and consultations.

Data sources Statistical surveys carried out at the beginning of school year (academic year) in educational units:
1.Early childhood education (ISCED levels 01) details
2.Pre-school education (ISCED level 02) details
3.Primary (ISCED level 1) and secondary (ISCED level 2) education details
4.Special primary ISCED level 1) and secondary (ISCED level 2) education details
5.High school education (ISCED level 3)details
6.Vocational education (ISCED level 3) and post high school education (ISCED level 4) details
7.Tertiary education (ISCED levels 6,7 and 8) details 
Methodology The education level according to the International Classification of Educational Standards - ISCED 97 (until 2013) / ISCED 2011 (after 2013). 
Last update AUG 31, 2024 
Observations Data by total education levels and localities are available as of the 1993 year (1993/1994 school/academic year).
For 1993, 1994 years, dates of localities are not including class-rooms for special needs primary and secondary education.
Since 2013 data are detailed for each of the education levels.
Starting with the school year 2014/2015, number the educational units also include nurseries.
Data for post-secondary schools represents the sum of data for specialized post-secondary education and special needs post-secondary education.
Data for tertiary education are provided by the place (locality) of each faculty.
The number and denominations of Romania's localities comply with the administrative and territorial structure updated for the current year.
