SOM103A - Unemployment rate by gender, macroregions, development regions and counties 
Definition Registered unemployment rate represents the ratio between the number of unemployed (registered at the agencies for employment) and civil economically active population (unemployed + civil employed, defined according to the methodology of labour force balance).

Methodology Unemployment rate = (Ump._total regist./ Civ. active pop.)* 100 where,
Ump._rate=unemployment rate (in %)
Ump._ total regist. = number of total registered unemployed to National Agency for Employment
Civ. active pop.= civil economically active population from labour force balance

The starting year for the data series is 1991. In 1990 there is no legal framework. Unemployment nr.1/1991 Law came into force since 1991.
