SOM104A - Persons attending vocational training courses 
Definition Persons included in vocational training courses refer to those persons looking for a job who take part in the courses for qualification, re-qualification, training and specialization organized by training levels, based on the national plan of vocational training.

Observations Data Source: National Agency for Employment (NAE). The starting year for the data series is 1991. Unemployment Law no. 1/1991 entered into force starting from 1991 and was repealed by art. 130 of Law 76/2002. NAE did not provide data for persons who were involved in activities for 2012.
For the total participants in vocational training courses started in the reference year, the data refer to the number of beneficiaries of vocational training services.
For the persons who benefit from free-of-charge services for the evaluation and certification of skill, the data refer to the persons who benefit from free-of-charge services for the evaluation and certification of skills, due to changes in Law No 76/2002.
For the persons included in apprenticeship programmes, the data refer to the persons included in apprenticeship programmes, according to Law No 279/2005, as amended by Law No 179/2013.
For the persons who completed their training in organized courses, for the unemployed persons who attended courses organized from other funds and for the persons who began the training in the previous year, the data refers to graduates (people who have completed the courses). The graduates employed in the reference year may also come from previous years, thus the total number of graduated employed can exceed the total number of graduates from the reference.
Serial break (break in series) since 2017, so the data are not comparable to those published for previous years.
