Definition |
Organic agricultural area is the used agricultural area cultivated organically, on which organic production methods are applied according to of the European Union and national rules. The agricultural area used represents the total area consisting in arable land including greenhouses and solariums, permanent pastures and hayfields, permanent crops and family gardens used by farms, regardless of the mode of ownership. |

Methodology |
Methodology developed according to the Regulations: a) Regulation (EU) no.2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 on organic production and labeling of organic products and repealing Council Regulation (EC) no.834/2007; b) Commission Regulation (EC) No.889/2008 of 5 September 2008 laying down detailed rules for the application of Council Regulation (EC) No.834/2007 on organic production, labeling of organic products as regards organic production, labeling and control, with subsequent modifications. |
