Definition The number of reception centres for migrants seeking protection and data on their reception capacity consists of the IGI Regional Asylum Procedures and Accommodation Centres by location and accommodation capacity.

Methodology Accommodation capacity and regional centres are stipulated in the 'National Immigration Strategy 2019 - 2022' - open spaces for each of the IGI's Regional Asylum Procedures and Accommodation Centres.

Observations - For international comparison purposes, only the resident population will be used, calculated according to European regulations (Regulation No 1260/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on European statistics on demography and Commission Regulation No 205/2014 implementing Regulation No 1260/2013 on European statistics on demography concerning data breakdown, deadlines, data revisions).
