TCR0343 - Target 4 - Social - Abortion rate per 1000 women 
Definition Abortions is spontaneous or induced removal of the fetus from the mother's body at a gestation period of less than 28 weeks ended, with the effect of fetal death.
Live-birth is a product of conception completely expelled or extracted from its mother's body, irrespective of the duration of pregnancy, which, after such separation, shows an evidence of life - breath, beating of the heart, pulsation of the umbilical chord or definitive movement of voluntary muscles.

Methodology Age is expressed in completed years (for instance, a person of 24 years old and 11 months at July 1st, is considered to be of 24 years old).

Observations Are included women with permanent residence in Romania. .
The statistical data are constantly revised, according to the Revision Policy of NIS.
Thus, the data for 2020 have been modified and are of "revised".
Data prior to 2020 will not be revised.
