Definition Represents the percentage of population connected to wastewater collecting system of the total resident population of Romania.
The wastewater collecting system is a system of canals and pipes that collect wastewater from many sources to drain them together.

Data sources Statistical survey Population connected to wastewater collecting systems and wastewater treatment plants 
Methodology The statistical survey covers the town halls of the localities that have sewerage systems.

Observations The data series starts with the year 2008.
