THX0743 - Target 4 - Environment - Biofuel consumption as a share of total fuel consumption in transport 
Definition The indicator represents the share of quantities of bio-fuels in total fuels used in transport.
The total fuel consumption used in transport is given by the amount of fuel consumed in all transport activities, regardless of the economic sector of which that activity is part.
Biofuels used in transport refer to liquid biofuels for transport from biomass.

Methodology The indicator is calculated as the ratio between the consumption of bio-fuels and total fuels used for transport.
