Definition The share of persons aged 16-74 years who accessed the Internet in the last 3 months, by the purposes of accessing the Internet represents the ratio between the number of persons aged 16-74 years within each breakdown, who accessed the Internet in the last 3 months prior the data collection period for a specific purpose and the total number of persons who accessed the Internet in the last three months from that breakdown.
The purposes: communication, access to information, use of entertainment, creativity, e-Learning, e-Health, civic and political participation, professional life, other on-line services (Internet banking, selling of goods or services etc.).

Observations The question allowed multiple answers, so the sum of percentages is not possible.
In 2014, data were estimated based on the resident population on 1 January 2014 and they are not comparable with data series of previous periods. For years in which data are not available, they have not been researched in those years.

Starting with 2017, age groups have changed due to the small number of cases observed.
Starting in 2020 the variable-To listen to music (eg on radio stations, recorded music)- has been changed to;Listening to music (e.g. web radio, music streaming, You Tube) or downloading music.
